Britney Spears marries her fiancé Sam Asghari in a dreamy ceremony earlier this week. The singer shared her and Sam’s wedding moments on Instagram on Friday. She posted a video captioning “fairytales are real” the video clip showed her walking down the aisle and kissing the groom. The video even had other moments of the ceremony. The other post on Instagram had photos of the celeb friends that attended, among them were Madonna, Drew Barrymore, and Paris Hilton. The couple didn’t have the first dance, but Selena Gomez, Madonna, and the bride danced together to “Toxic,” followed by Paris and Britney singing “Stars Are Blind.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met in the year 2016 when they co-starred in a music video Slumber Party. Britney made their relationship official on New Year’s Day 2017 posting a photo of her and Sam at the dinner. Since then, the couple was seen frequently on each other’s Instagram posts. The couple got engaged in September 2021 when Sam proposed with a classic 4-carat round brilliant diamond solitaire in a platinum cathedral setting by Roman Malayev. The couple announced their secret pregnancy in April 2022 but unfortunately had a miscarriage a month later.
Spears and her partner Sam Asghari were readying to wed at her luxury pad near Los Angeles when the proceedings were interrupted, Variety and other trade media said. Jason Alexander, a childhood friend to whom the 40-year-old singer was very briefly married in 2004, crashed the event. Alexander live-streamed his invasion on Instagram, with footage showing him telling a security guard he had been invited. The police were then called to investigate reports of someone trespassing and found that Alexander had an outstanding warrant against him from another jurisdiction, so they arrested him, Variety reported.
At the event’s end, the newlyweds exited at 10:15 p.m. in a Rolls Royce. As they drove away, guests surrounded their car with sparklers.
