The Richest Divorce: Jeff Bezos

The world’s richest man and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos just agreed for a record-breaking divorce settlement of at least $35bn. The couple announced of their divorce in January, after which a US tabloid published all major and minor details about the extramarital affair between Mr Bezos and former Fox TV Host Lauren Sanchez.
According to the settlement, Ms Bezos keeps a 4% stake in the online giant which is worth $35.6bn. Amazon was started by Mr Bezos, a year after the couple married. No further financial details about the settlement were provided by any of them.
Mr Bezos remains the world’s richest person and Ms Bezos become the third richest women in the world. He retains 75% of the holding but Ms Bezos has transferred all her voting rights to her former husband. They both shared positive tweets for each other after the settlement which gives us major divorce goals.
